About Gerard P. Santini
Gerard P. Santini is an American of Swiss-Italian descent who spent most of his working career with Seven Santini Brothers International Movers, a family business. Over a period of 17 years, Mr. Santini gained considerable experience in logistics, operations, sales, and marketing. He was a Certified Marketing Executive and a member of the Sales and Marketing Executives International, and still is a founding member of the International Business Alumni of Baruch College.
As a branch manager in 1980, he was responsible for labor relations, purchasing, dispatching of traffic, sales, and warehousing. In 1985, Mr. Santini transferred to the international division for Home Pack Transport Inc. While serving as Northeast Regional Sales Manager, his linguistic skills and international exposure were valuable in promoting the company's varied services. Consequently, he was able to develop many relationships with the international business community.
When the company was sold in 1990, Mr. Santini left to pursue work opportunities in international freight forwarding, transportation, and logistics. He developed an extensive network with individuals in different industries. As an independent contractor, Mr. Santini oversaw projects in transportation, economic development, and marketing.
Mr. Santini is conversant in German and has a working knowledge of French. In addition, he holds a Bachelor's degree in business with a major in international marketing. He is a Certified Marketing Executive, member of Sales and Marketing Executives International, and founding member of the International Business Alumni of Baruch College.
In January of 1998, Mr. Santini formed this consulting company with an associate to provide business development assistance and commercial support to companies seeking development. The initial focus was developing relationships in the Brazilian, Swiss, and American business community and offering everything clients needed for starting a business to establishing market presence. His team has handled various bids and projects ranging from representation in transportation and economic development to sales and marketing of consumer goods and product development in the beverage industry.
